Science Curriculum Overview
Welcome to Science at Noel-Baker Academy
“The most important thing is to never stop questioning”
Albert Einstein
In our curriculum, we tell the story of science from the macroscopic to the microscopic. We make sure that we highlight that what we know now is thanks to those that came before us. It is our aim for our curriculum to mirror the diversity of the community we serve; this way students can see themselves reflected in the content. At the same time, we structure the learning to support and encourage everyone regardless of prior attainment to access this wealth of powerful knowledge and work towards fostering a long-term love of the subject, with the aspiration that the consistent highlighting of career opportunities within STEM empowers students to pursue roles in the scientific workforce.
